I enjoy this
site very much, but have a few thoughts on how it could be improved and made easier to use.
The first is to greatly encourage all users to put their vehicle information in their signature. New users especially seem to ask questions without giving details about their truck, it makes responding difficult, frustrating
, vague. I'm sure it also embarasses them when asked 'dumb' questions by knowledgable people they are asking for advice. They don't know if the helpers are being sarcastic
, intimidating, critical or just trying to help.
The second would follow up on the first: Make Show Signature (yes) the default option when entering a post. I have forgotten to check it off, even though I always want to use it. (I'm just so d**n proud of my truck!)
Thanks for the consideration, I know the second may be a technical problem, but the first could be implemented in various ways, including the 'Welcome to Ford-Diesel-Com' message, or a new users FAQ.
