Search Function

This is a complaint. I know how to use the search engine, and it seemed like it used to work well. However, the one complaint i have is the wait time between searched. I have searched, and then i get a "you cannot search again, try again later" type message. I dont know what the reasoning behind it is, but its very inconvenient, especially when you are searching for something obscure and you need to refine repeatedly. Usually, i get fed up and just post the question, even though the answer was probably in the forum somewhere.

Re: Search Function

I'll second this one. I often have a specific search that returns no matches. Then you have to wait a while before trying again. I know the idea is to prevent sabotage by bogging the board down with really repetitve searches, but now it seems very unusable for valid searches as well.

Re: Search Function

This new issue bugs me, too. I've found that if instead of using the BACK button, you use the Back to Search Results button that's part of the search results, then it takes you back w/out the timeout error. It does take you back to the very top of the results page, though, which stinks especially if you set it to show more than 25 results per page.

After you search, if you right-click on the link and select open in new window it will not do this.
