Search link / Hyperlinks all the same

Problem within a thread when using the search feature. When you enter a thread from the search function and that thread has a link to another thread, all the links are linked to this: Beds and Tow Bodies for Chassis Cab Trucks

I think this happens in any searched thread.

Example:

Was in----> Power Strokes 1994-1997 Upgrades and Aftermarket

Search this forum----> Hydroboost

Results and entered this thread----> SD hydroboost scroll down to post #3 and click on any of the links

Caused by clicking on an old link that was posted under the old forums software = UBBThreads.

We transitioned to VBulletin forums software about a year ago, so any older links have to be converted before they will work right.

For example, if you right-click on that link, then click on "properties", then look at the URL you will see:

url =http: // forums. thedieselstop.com/ ubbthreads/showflat. php?Cat=0&Board=9497upgrades1&Number= 2941345&Searchpage=1&Main =2940258&Words= hydroboost&topic=&Search= true#Post2941345

But without the spaces I added to prevent it from becoming a link.

Notice early in the URL is the folder "/ubbthreads/". But that's an invalid folder now.

I don't remember how to correct the URL to convert that ubbthreads to something that will work, but other moderators probably remember. Hang on and one of them will probably give you the straight scoop.
