Has the idea ever been addressed for a section to allow members to post regaurding "buddy shipping". By buddy shipping, I mean for members who need to or are available to haul a trailer or other large item that is costly to get shipped.
Thats a good idea
ya know if you are goin on a trip not carring anything, it would make the trip more worth wile.(in my opinion)
I like it

I bet there is some legal issue or something. I mean what if your "buddy" steals your stuff... Jason probably wouldn't want to put himself in a situation where he was in the middle of all that.
Good point, if done there'd have to be some sort of disclaimer (like a lot of the sites with instructions for modding your truck have claiming no responsiblity).

Lots of things on the "to-do" list
I do aggree with the liability issue. However, I think that kind of a section would be more geared to the groups of us on TDS that happen to know each other.

i am headed to lakeland and brandon on sat. need anything hauled.
we tried this last year getting some stuff to hutch for the test mule. then poor ol hutch got flambuzzled he has some great ideas and solutions. the problem was the gear being hauled never really materilized. we looked at relaying it across the country. sort of like mobile to pcola, pcola to tallahasse
the other issue came from the trailer? how was it getting back empty and how long would it take.
lots of good thouhgts but short on comitments.
