Shame on you Diesel Stop.com...

I have not visited your site in awhile but have been a member for about seven years..I did pay you a visit today, and could not believe how you have changed! It is obvious you have sold out to vendors and commercial links at the cost of your members. I could not find any of my old "haunts"..You have become nothing more than a site dedicated to making a buck! I understand that there are cost in maintaining/running a site but you have gone ridiculous in you efforts...This , in my opinion, will cost you members and from some of the other post, I am right. I predict you will not be around very long..members are not going to wade through a sea of pages/banners to get where they want to be...

I wish you good luck..you're gonna need it!

I love this post.

Are you seriously suggesting that as long as there are people as stupid as yourself TDS will do just fine????

No offense, just checking.

The quantity of ads I see doesn't bother me. The speed of the site is very annoying. I can watch the page load at least three times. I'm not very computer literate but it seems like I may not be connected directly to a TDS server.

Wow! 2 members that joined in Feb of this year. 1 with 13 posts and 1 with 39 posts. I guess I'm trying to figure out if they actually know if this site has changed or not. Other that being a little slow at times, I am still seeing 11 or 12 pages of new posts from the time I turn the computer off at night and when I turn it on in the morning. Must be doing something right. Looks like the site is doing just fine.
Another site that I frequent is slower than this one and that site will get 1 to 1 1/2 pages of new posts in the same time that this one gets 11. I have not seen one complaint on that site about the speed. I just have to wonder, really, how many of these complainers are ones that are living under the bridge. ???????

What you don't see ,is the dwindling number of people with the answers to the questions

I click on "New Posts" so I get them all. I have a particular interest in the 7.3 forums but I enjoy the 6.4 just to see what the tree huggers have done to us and now I read the gasser forums because when this 2001, psd goes south, that is what will replace it. Its been a couple of hours since I was here and there are 4 pages of new posts. The site is far from being dead.

Whiners!!

Well with 86,590 members on board each wanting someting different, maybe as the whiners leave we will be back to a board everyone can enjoy. I really do not have any complaints & enjoy many of the posts & the ones I do not enjoy I just ignore. Sometimes I have responded to something that was said that I did not like or agree with, but now I just take it as it is & move on. Although I must say I have noticed a LOT of very poor input & complaining in the past year or so. JMHO. Enjoy what you can, Ignore what you cannot.
