Signature Lines

What happened to the talk of limiting signature lines to be only pertinent info? And a definitive length? I do attempt to read the line when reading about a problem that has been encountered, but holy runon sentences Batman, some are ridiculous, oh, and a spell check would be nice too. One guy has "duel stacks", does this mean they are constantly doing battle with each other? Same newbie has almost everything ever bolted onto a truck listed in the line.Including the brand name of his floormats.

Re: Signature Lines

Curious. Why does this bother you. What difference does it make if it is a "newbie". Have you seen some of the signatures of folks that have been here for thousands of posts. There are a lot of braggarts around here, lots of dreamers, lots of fakes, lots of everything. Internet thing, ya know.

Newbie really don't come out like it was intended, oh well, another lost in translation. But the sig lines for example, look at most of them here that are more than 8 or 10 words, doing just as you said you are-bragging about things that may or may not be real. Re: Signature Lines

I’m all for spelling and punctuation in a post... I’m not asking for anybody to be perfect (lord knows I’m not) but legible would be nice. I’ve read a few posts in the past week that I never did figure out what the person was trying to say. It’s really bad when you read a post 3-4 times and can’t figure it out. In one of them I honestly think somebody was asking me if I got my horses drunk. Heck, I don’t even own a horse.

As far as sig’s go, I really don’t pay much attention to them.

But the Bronco is totally related, it fits on my trailer that I tow with my truck, catch me on I64 or I75 and try keeping up with it.

Re: Signature Lines

The signature line issue was it took up too much server space, I think Jason said it wasn't an issue anymore.

Re: Signature Lines

Greetings,

I see where you are coming from. A few people have everything they own or added 'one lined' on their sig. I have a scroll mouse and it is a bit much some times. Spelling? Maybe they can not help that. But 30 line signatures?

Peace.

Exactly the point I wished to make, maybe I was a bit brief, or over specific. A max number of characters would keep things easy to read.

Re: Signature Lines

Greetings,

I dont think anyone would have a problem with your sig. YOu did not line item each thing. Also, you are not noting the color of your interior, how you moded it, what color your bumper stickers are, your upgraded cigerett ash tray or windshield wipers, etc.

Peace
