site slow after change?

Aside from getting used to the new format...it seems as if the load time between pages is staggeringly slow.

It's definitely either my settings (unchanged from old format), or the site (servers? perhaps)

One multiple computers, in separate locations, with excellent high speed service (T1 @ work, cable DSL @ home)...there is a goooood bit of turbo lag between pages.

normal?

or should I look into something else.

normal i have the same with comcast its the servers i think in peek hours and that too many accessing go on at like 4 am eastern its lightning fast
