I fixed your link above. And I don't see the wide screen in the linked thread with my browser - the latest IE that came with Windows XP. So I suspect Jason nailed it when he mentioned your browser - perhaps it's time to upgrade?

There is the problem. After you posted that long url it expanded the thread wayyy out. Does somebody know how to post a url so that won't expand the thread?

"Does somebody know how to post a url so that won't expand the thread?"
I've turned off UBBCode for this post, so I can show you the UBBCode.
Normally, the part of the URL that shows on the screen is the problem. So if you convert the URL to show only "Click here" or something similar, then it won't cause the wide-display problem.
However, I edited the post above with the long URL, and that didn't seem to fix the problem, so I don't know what's still causing the wide-display problem in this thread now.

So just regular text won't do it, if I understand this correctly.
[/ QUOTE ]The software is looking for spaces (the space character) as the places to wrap the lines. If there are no spaces in the string, then it won't wrap. And URLs don't contain the space character. So when you display a long URL, it causes the problem.
