Cd that more than likely means you forgot to disable your firewall while running the ping and trace tests. If you were not getting any packets through or hub hops back you would not be able to read the forums or the site would be down for some reason.

I haven't been able to narrow it down yet. I think the version of MySQL I had running wasn't compiled right. It didn't seem to honoring some of my settings. I just installed a newer version to see if that helps.
