Re: Smokey! A little to selective?

Herb, I'm guessing that's a vote of confidence.
It's pushed a few good men in the wrong direction I must say...

Yep, vote of confidence, a big one

Re: Smokey! A little to selective?

I will jump in here and say this is a great site and I have gained invaluable information about the diesels I have owned. I think the moderators do a great job. I've been out of line or unknowlingly broken the rules a few times and have been sent a couple of emails or PM's from the moderators. Every one of them was done with tact and were in no way mean spirited. I think they do great jobs and we have no business jumping on them when one makes what we think is a mistake every now and then. In the total scheme of things it really doesn't matter. Just enjoy the site and the people you meet and the information and knowledge you gain. Where else can you gain so much free knowledge and have such a great time doing it. That's my feelings about it.

Re: Smokey! A little to selective?

DieselNateGuy; I agree with your comments about the moderators.
For the first time a thread that I was actively involved in got
locked. I think that a pointed note would have put it back on track
as there was a good exchange going on. But, I still think that they
do an excellent job and I'm glad that someone is doing it. Hopefully,
they will keep up the good work.
