Speed of Site?

Just wondering how the site speed has been for everyone today. I think we got everything straightened out around 9:30am this morning although we've been changing a few things all day. My site monitor is showing much better response time now .. as much as 10 times better.

Still is running pretty slow here. I am logged on at 31200 and have hadd much better responce than am getting right now. Will check back later.

I was on the site this afternoon and it was pretty slow. Tonight it seems much better. I hope the speed will stay up consistently now that everything has been updated. Really enjoy the site and have gotten a lot of great information that I wouldn't have been able to find anywhere else. Keep up the good work Jason!

Cold molassas, Sunday 8 a.m. when only me and the cat are on. Saturday afternoon it was typically slow for a busy time. Late Saturday nite it wasn't much better.

Are you gaining members fast? Maybe just too many folks logged on at the same time overwhelms the hardware - even the new hardware? "The AOL problem" of they couldn't upgrade the hardware as fast as they were gaining members a year or so ago?

I signed on in mid-April, when the response times between screens were only a second or so. The response times have gotten slower and slower - now it's several seconds. And often (25% of the time) a reply to a forum won't take - "this screen is not available" so I go back and resubmit - sometimes three or four times. Frustrating - but worth it to be able to use this site.
