Most of us are running computer software that allows several windows open. When posting, one can always open a word processor that has a spell checker, type message, spell check, than cut/paste to the post box. Less chance of crash situation - I too got crashed the other night using site spell check. Going this route, I can scroll both windows to recheck the original messages and correct sender's names while typing my reply.
