Spelling

Folks,

I don't want to come across as anal-retentive, but let's at least make an attempt to spell key words correctly.

It seems the most commonly misspelled word is "gauge". Many of you are spelling it "guage".

Do a search on "guage" and you will see what I mean....

I only ask this so the search engine can be used as effectively as possible.

Scott

Re: Spelling

thats when you need to be creative and come up with different spellings for things .. it wouldnt be interesting if everything was cut and dry like math.

Re: Spelling

It would be nice if Jason could incorporate a spell checker here, till then I'll keep writhing my post in e-mail, spell check, cut & past it to the thread,
Seriously, there are allot of people you won't post for fear of being ridiculed, some of the brightest mechanical minds I have ever met could not spell their own name, but they could figure out how ANYTHING works and fix it. I really do not want anyone not to post because they fear being ridiculed. Hell, Einstein couldn't even tie his own shoes but I'd damn sure like to hear what he has to say.

Re: Spelling

Ya, what hutchinaugusta said

I'm a computer programer and can't spell at all (really doesn't matter as long as I'm consistent ) I also type in email spell check then paste sometimes. I know the importance of search as I use it all them time but I don't want anyone to not post.

Sorry SmokeyWren
