We are trying to keep things in line - there are some of the threads that have good informtion in them, unfortunately it seems after a bit the same folks post the same complaints. I don't think we will or should prohibit posting on problems with the 6.0, after all most of what we do here relates to solving problems.
I agree,
If you look around you'll find the same folk stating what a POS the 7.3 is and then later you'll find them bashing the 6.0 or Ford's auto-trans.
As you can see by my signature I have own many of these trucks and I have not had any problems with any of them.
No I don't mod them, nor do I drive the hell out of them and yes I do all my scheduled maintenance and keep them very clean.
Just one question.
If the 6.0 with auto-trans are so unreliable then why do so many Ambulance Services choose them?

because the superduty with the ambulance package contains that motor. I'm sure there are a few ambulance services that preferred their 7.3's.
although I like that avatar, I am very surprised it is allowed to remain since so much other, completely innocuous stuff is edited. window washer euphemism comes screaming to mind.
Future Additions:

Yes Sir!
This is why I prefer to own one.
And I do, three days a week, no matter what type of weather or conditions.
I must get to the hospital for my dialysis treatments, my life depends on it!
And I was!
I was transported via a PSD 6.0 ambulance for over a five hour ride from a small town rual hospital to a large hospital.
