Suggestion for a 911 Forum like the one on The Diesel Place.com
Jason,
I was cruising around the web and ran across this site 911 Forum . They have a very cool and helpful 911 Forum that also has a post that the member across the country list their phone numbers and capabilities.
Looks like the Chevy boys have one up on us and have joined together to help each other out.
Can you please consider a 911 Forum for us Ford boys. I believe it would be a great help when someone is in need.
Thanks,
Mad Max

Sorry, it takes me so long to respond. I have difficulty typing and seeing small type. I can read better if it is in caps, so I'm not shouting, just trying to see what I type.

No.
It's a SPAM fighter technique.
I don't use that technique, but lots of folks do. When you look at someone's profile by clicking on their username, you might see an e-mail addy that looks like:
Either way will work to prevent the e-mail addy harvesters from grabbing your e-mail addy and using it in their SPAM list. They might grab it, but any e-mail sent to SmokeyWren@Remove me first TheDieselStop.com is sure to reject. And those freaks are too lazy to edit the addy to get rid of the "remove me first" so it's an effective way to reduce the amount of SPAM you get when you post your e-mail addy in public.

But I am not sure that that list has been updated. I sent off an email to get my name added to the "help" list but I see its still not there. Is there one of the moderators working on this...or does it need a volunteer to take it over.
Dave

Dave Bey was doing it as part of the '94-'97 FAQ. But he disappeared right after the Florida hurricanes last year. He popped in around Christmas looking for help, then disappeared again.
So I'd say yes, we need a volunteer to take over. If you are proficient with HTML, then contact Jason at jlester@thedieselstop.com if you'd like to help us run the website. The pay is awful, and the hours are worse, but the satisfaction of helping out the other nuts on TheDieselStop is priceless.
