I agree, Thanks are in order. Next time try what I did..I went to the edmunds.com website and found the "contact us' tab and let them know in a nice way how much I was annoyed by that ad. If we all barraged them, they might get the message. I understand that TDS just sells the ad space and might not preview the ads, so I have NO ill feelings towards TDS.
Next time try taking it out on the source, not just the messenger.
