To insert a picture in a post, use the icon that looks like a photo of a mountain, and paste the url of you photo in the box that pops up.
Here's my avatar photo. It's pretty small, but the one of my fender flares
IS BIGGER.
It's a little different format than BlueMule's thumbnail post. Not sure how he did that right now.

Oh! the mountain icon. I couldn't get the large version. I used the paperclip icon to get the thumbnail version.

Actually, the thumbnail approach may be the way to go. Clicking on it expands it.
Those big photos like I posted sure take up a lot of screen real estate when you're just reading posts.
