Un Read posts...

Are normally highlighted till they are read ,,

Is there a way to keep unread post's highlighted longer ?..

They seem to be cleared on a random basis, making some threads hard to follow if you are away for a day...

One thing I don't like about VBulletin is every time you log off, all threads in all forums are set as read, even if you haven't even opened some forums.

I haven't found any user-settable options to keep threads marked as un-read if you log off without reading them. The designer assumed that if you logged off, you must have read all threads in which you are interested. But my routine is to log on and read maybe one or two forums, then log off to come back later and read the other forums I didn't get to. Or if Darling Wife hollers for me to take care of something in the middle of a session, then naturally I log off and take care of it. So in "my" forums, I have to pay attention to the date and time of posts, not just the read/un-read marking.

Yes that does do that but I just don't "log out". I stay logged in. So the next time I fire up the PC and hop on the site the unread threads show up in each of the forums.
