Unable to read replies or post replies

This site is about to defeat me!

I posted a note two days ago. I received two replies and tried to reply to them. My replies did not show up in the thread.

Now I see there are 7 replies to my original note (in towing and hauling), and I am only able to see two of them. The other 5 do not show up, but the content page shows that there are 7 replies.

I must be doing something wrong, or I have some switched off. Any ideas?

Re: Unable to read replies or post replies

There are now 7 replies to your original post, including 2 by you and 3 by me.

I won't respond to your new post until you figure out what's wrong with your system.

For one thing, assuming you have Windows, try exiting all programs on your computer, then reboot from scratch. Then immediately jump back on the internet and go directly to the towing&hauling forum and try to read your first post. If you can read it, then that confirms that your problem was a full internet cache or some nonsense that Microsoft Windows won't work without frequent rebooting. In my case, I automatically reboot my PC every time I end a session, then let it idle with the screensaver on until I bet back to begin the next session. [My pc is never turned off - just rebooted at the end of each session.]

If that doesn't do it for you, then you must be using AOL.

Crabby - In case you still can't read the replies in that thread in that forum, I copied the thread to an e-mail and sent it to you. Check your e-mail.

Re: Unable to read replies or post replies

Thanks for the e-mail SmokeyWren.

I now understand what I am missing in the hitch set-up . And I was using incorrect terms to ask my questions. I'll take a good look at the EZ Lift and Henley-Arrow, but that 3K price tag gives me a real pucker factor . Of course damaging my trailer, tractor and truck could far out exceed the cost ....(for want of a horse show a kingdom was lost ....)

I am still unable to read any replies except the first two on my original post --- how wierd! We'll see what happens with this one!
I may have to unsubscribe and re-subscribe ...

Again, thanks

Go to the thread in question, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and click Reload/Refresh in your browser. That should cause it to get the latest version. If not, your ISP is caching web pages and not doing a very good job of it.
