Different "strokes" for different folks. I get great info here and don't sweat the small stuff. There are plenty of other places to go if someone doesn't like the way a site is run.

showme69....in one way you are right...that you can go elsewhere if you don't like the rules, BUT, this is the section for those of us who don't like specific rules, to say our peace. I've done so in the past, and will continue to do so, and in "my" opinion he has a valid concern. In no way will it change things, as the Moderators are "God" on this site it seems, and I personally haven't seen where an opinion of a moderator has been backtracked, as the majority has no way of overruling him. These might be the things that tick us off, but using this site is paramount over those "emotional" things, and something we must live with.

Maybe you guys know. I used to have a username "Lovetopull" that used to show up instead of sreardon. Now all my old posts indicate they were authored by sreardon???

Is this something I can do at my end? My profile maybe?

I've got the same problem as "lovetopull". Before the format switch my user name would appear as "ShowMePSD" now it is -rbiermann- ? Do I have to register all over again?

Hmmmmm. Biermann is an unusual name out here in the oil patch. Probably a German name from south-central Texas around Giddings. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Smokey, -A little off this forum, but I've got 18K tags- something tells me you'll tell me its not possible !? I never attempt to tow that much but w/ 18K tags here in MO you only get one liscense plate- thats why I got them.

Also, how do you guys get colored text in your posts?

<hr></blockquote> Scroll up above this thread to the two menu bars. Click on FAQ, then scroll down to the discussion of HTML and UBBcode. Several colors available including

red
blue
green
yellow
orange
purple

plus black and white.

And notice the variation in color when you combine bold with a color:

red
blue
green
yellow
orange
purple

I'm not smokey but I think I can answer your question.
The plate that you have is probibly an "apportioned" or "combination" plate. I had my '99 F 550 registered for 50,000#. I had a 48' trailer that hauled most of the weight; it had a "token tag". Hope this helps.
