Is there anyway to use a link to a former thread on the "old" site? I've got a bunch of bookmarked pages (links) that whenever I try to use one of them I'm just taken to the default forums home page.
It was a thread I liked and have shared with others about installing blinking LEDs to the trailer towing mirrors. I'd love to be able to find that thread again.
Favorite threads are still available, just under a different name. Go into "my account" down on the left side you can "list subscriptions/view all" Everything is still there.
If you want to save something you go to the top of any thread and use "thread tools" and then"subscribe to this thread"
I guess I need to clarify...I meant that in my browser (Firefox and Internet Explorer) I had saved as favorites or bookmarked different threads and articles for quick referencing. Those are the ones that no longer work...I'm not talking about threads I've marked somehow within the dieselstop's site...this is something I've done in my web browser.
If your suggestion is applicable I'm sorry for sounding so ignorant...I'd just like to be able to click on this link below, for example, and be taking to the thread like I was able to before. Now whenever I try any of my browser saved favorites I'm just taken to the "new" site home page. If I try searching in the old site I'm just taken back to the new site. It seems to be a catch-22 situation. I can't be the only person saddened by losing all of the bookmarked web pages I had before.
losfinch...same for me. Most of my favorites (links) saved from old tds/ubb. don't work. Also get taken to current home page. Also link made tds/ubb take's me to current home pg.
I gave up on seach at old tds site. Some had great success, but not me. Anyhow, google worked better for me. Don't know yet if I can goggle my lost favorite's ? Good luck!
