This web site used to be a lot faster (dial up). What can I do?

It takes about 3 to 5 minutes for the pages to load now. I can't get high speed here and was wondering what changed and if there is anything I can do to help fix it.

wow this will be like the 15th thread like this that gets IGNORED
the web guys just don't care apparently.

But I want this place to stay alive
so I just keep recommending what obviously
a huge user group agrees with.

I think it has something to do with the flash banner but not sure..
while they do look nice.something is up.

it kinda seems like it does a random load, and loads a few images for
each vendor.. kinda like wheel of fortune see who pops up the a list of 3 slides.
maybe it is that .

you can try these.
and runn it of firefox, disable flash content.
go in to your user settings and turn off the side bar box
and always log in
you can try a web caching program etc..
something geared to dialup.

....but it is still one of the slowest
(wait for page to load)
forums on the net.
if it wasn't so interesting , and overall a great place
(wait for page to load)
I wouldn't keep at it.
