What's the record viewed, replied post?

Just wondering what the highest number of views for a thread, and how many replies to a post.

THIS THREAD just reached 5000 views. It has been very active, informative, entertaining, and at the same time makes me feel for BluesFan and his troubles.

Not even close THIS ONE got so big and squirrely that Jason had to close it and restart/continue it HERE. The new archives don't show the views or number of replies when looking at the thread itself, however at the time of archiving the first link had 66,361 views with 1230 posts and the second had 33,432 views with 642 posts for a combined total of 99,793 views and 1872 posts ... That's so weird, i never understand how a thread gets that big. I've seen on other forums like a thread get about 500 replies in about two days and i'm like.. "GOOD LORD!" But that one is just ridiculous. It's gonna take forever to read, but... how can you possibly stay on topic with 1500+ posts?

Well it did sort of, but was a wide reaching thread, but one that one had to experience as it developed ... a lot of good technical exchanges there such a Pat vacuumizing some diesel fuel and me resurrecting this entrained air in the fuel thing ... along with Hutch peeing in the infamous "yellow bucket" in the middle of the nite .. you had to be here and I read every single post in both ... some many times and probably had twice as many PMs to various members as I did actual posts .... Also that created like 20 or 30 other thread a couple that would make Blues thread pale by comparison. To get a true appreciation you need to see how fast that thread moved from like the end of 2/2003 to early 3/2003 it was like greased lightening ... at times we were stepping all over each other in our responses.

Thanks for the link to the MEGA-THREAD . I've got it marked as a favorite and will be reading the whole thing when I get a bit of time.

Although Blues thread has been interesting and informative, I think the thread on MPG & Cackle is much more valulable. Many have cackle and would love to get rid of it. Only a very few have bent rods.

If you really want an education go to THIS THREAD and read all the links under the subheadings of Cackle and Fuel system - Air problems see also (fuel system - pre pump filter) in the first post in that thread and if you want to go back further read the links in THIS POST. Also, feel free to graze thru all the links that I have in that thread if you can stomach that much reading
