Where from section.

Have seen sections on other non diesel forums that has a section dedicated to where people are from. If someone needs help wrenching or something they can post it in their home state and if anyone is close by they can offer to help. My being new to diesels this would be a big help for me as I know nothing about them. I am just trying to read up on here as much as i can.

We have a "Help Network" here, which serves a similar purpose to what you're asking about.

It's in the 94/97 FAQ section accessed from the home page by clicking on Diesel FAQs on the left side, then 94/97 FAQs.

Here's a direct link Power Stroke Help Network - 1994-1997 Power Stroke FAQ

It needs some updating, and there are some things in the works to get the FAQ pages sorted out. It's a volunteer effort, so it takes some time.

There are tons of guys here who are willing to help out, so if you have a question, just post it in the appropriate forums.

BTW, I think we have PLENTY of forum topics here, maybe too many.

Hope that helps, and thanks for the suggestion.

Best thing to do is put your location in your profile. It will show up when you post and there maybe someone close by that can help you. I put "central valley, CA." in mine but that is a little generalized, as the central valley runs from Sacramento to Bakersfield.
