WHY am I getting a 2009 FORD F150 Pop Up AD?

I am getting a pop up ad from Ford - Cars, SUVs, Trucks & Crossovers | Ford Vehicles about the 2009 F150 and it is happening EVERY TIME I try to go to a different thread or page on TDS,...

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING all of a sudden,...? How do I make it stop? My pop up blocker is on and working, just not on this site.

One way is to become a supporting member of TheDieselStop. I haven't seen the ad you're talking about, but maybe because I'm a supporting member.

Download Firefox 3 and Adblocker Plus...... That combo will kill all the junk ads that you are seeing, plus you will be surfing safer and faster than with Internet Explorer.

You don't need to pay a ransom to avoid the annoying spam on this site.

I've tried Firefox several times over the past few years and never could get used to it and always end up uninstalling it. After reading one of the other threads on here I tried Google Chrome and so far I like it OK and when I use it on this site it's as fast as it used to be before the new management screwed it up.

Google Chrome is pretty slick & fast too, but I like the selection of add-on's available for Firefox (weather, bookmark syncs, news feeds etc). Anything that defeats the barrage of spam that this site throws out works for me.

I have been back on the site a few times and have not seen the ad pop up anymore. Not sure what happened it was the first time that I have seen it here, and it was only here.

Thanks for all of the input!, well see if it happens again...
