Re: why did my thread get deleted?

I know the rules. there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I asked if attendance was down since the new forum was launched. I didn't violate any rules. I guess attendance is down and they got butt hurt. no one has even taken the oppurtunity to answer my question through a pm.

Re: why did my thread get deleted?

Mod's around here usually handle things one of three ways, they warn, they lock, or they delete. The easy way out for a mod is to delete the entire thread if something is in their opinion against site rules or off topic. Some of the mod's go above and beyond the call of duty and go in a pick off the posts that are not approved and leave the thread intact. It's pot luck. But the best advice I can give you from a vet here is to forget about it and go on and enjoy the site. In my opinion, one I am VERY SURE that is not shared by the mods is that if you don't push the envelope a little now and then the site gets boring since you can only possibly stand the same old questions and answers over and over and over again...............just my opinion.

Re: why did my thread get deleted?

I understand and agree. But expect an explanation. It was honestly only 2 sentences.

Sometimes it does not take much. I can honestly say in all my time here I have only recently seen some arbitrary deletions of entire threads. It seems that there is only a "skeleton shift" of mods around these days and they do what they think they need to do........I have not agreed with several lately, and some others I have been involved with I see it completely........I just move one......have a good one.......
