Angry Why is this site so slooooooow?

I used to visit here ALOT, but now I rarely do ONLY because it is so incredibly slow to load pages. I had DSL and it would take several minutes to load a new page. I went to cable internet and it still is very very slow to load pages. I don't get this at other sites, just TDS? If you noticed a drop in member visits, thats probably the reason. I have heard many others say the same thing about slow loading pages.

That is why I rarely come here too. Way too slow and there is nobody here anymore....

I don't even care about the ads? It doesn't bother me! What bothers me is how slow the site is!! Other sites have ads and are not this slow..!!

It is a slow site. You think they would do something about that.

This is frustrating for me too so I don't read as much as I'd like because it takes forever to load.

I don't have any popups.. they are all blocked. I do not have firefox since this is a computer for work. I have like a T something internet connection...pretty much as fast as it gets but it loads the first part of the page fast then it sits blank for quite a while....

I used to beable to glance through all the 7.3L stuff in less than two minutes. That was very convenient! Now that is impossible. I have to pick and choose what I visit. Now if I picked something that I didn't want to see then I get stuck waiting to go back to the previous page. For some reason the Back botton (previous page) takes even longer to load....

It seems like with more technology we are going backwards now days....

If it only took 2 seconds, people wouldn't be complaining.
