Why are some words now Highlighted and underlined????

Today while browsing this site I noticed that some of the words are now highlighted and underlined, and if you click on them they shoot you to an internet site advertising products sometimes only parts of the words are highlighted or underlined such as cars and discovery.

Is this new to this site? as some of the sites don't seem to have anything common to TDS.

Maybe my puter is possessed

It's some form of spyware on your machine. I had it at work, and the IS guys had to completely reinstall windows. They blamed it on excessive internet surfing

Yep, you'er right. it was spyware. the IT guy spent about 1-1/2 hours fixing. He spewed out a few 4 letter words during the process. think I will leave him alone for awhile.
