9/11 Observances, How do you do it?

Watch the video, every time I see it it tears me apart.....

http://www.fdnylodd.com/9-11-Never-Forget/...-Of-Heroes.html

Never forget those who died, never forget those who killed them.

A good friend and prior service USAF Capt will be playing the bagpipes at a memorial for a Navy Seal KIA in AFG..............

I will be at work physically.......

I am a Christian believer, an Infidel in the eyes of those who ruthlessly murdered. I will not be cow-towed into tolerance. I will not be swayed into acceptance. I have sworn to uphold and defend.

Have been wondering about a old friend who was NYPD and downtown when the 1st plane hit. He was at ground zero when the towers came down, survived 911 & not long after dropped off the edge of the world.

Woke up thinking about Keith and dang if I did not have a PM from Big Jake asking if I ever knew what happened to him.

For those of you who were here from the start or remember that far back Carpentractor is who I am talking abut.

Rampy.

I remember tuning into this very web site (then ford-diesel.com) and reading that one tower, and then the other, had fallen. I wonder if those few threads from 9/11/01 are still on this server?

I remember Carpentractor. I hope he is doing well.

I was on my day off and enjoying a cup of coffee, We had drove home the previous day (150 miles) from seeing our new grandson that day. When I saw the first reports of the first plane hitting I thought "this is not good" when the second one hit, I got my wife up and we both sat in our chairs glued to the T.V. dumbfounded. As more reports came in about the other flights, all we could do is say "WOW" and recite a silent prayer for the innocent people.

On our road trip it was our intention to get to ground zero but due to construction, we were only able to get a few blocks form there. I think of that day often, and continue to say a prayer for the victims and the ones left behind.

Funny how we can remember all the things we were doing when a historic event happens, but we can't remember the little things ( last nights dinner)
