We saw alot on our trip, but this reminded me that we DIDN'T see a lot of things...Can't wait to go again and appreciate the beauty of AMERICA once more and for the first time

I always get goosebumps thinking about Hoover Dam, and it always helps put things back into perspective whenever the project I'm currently working on seems big and unsurmountable.

Was that map drawn by a Texan? Alaska's a whole lot bigger than that.

9/22/2007, age 21: Still running well when reluctantly sent away for reincarnation due to rust.

A few years ago I watched a documentary on TV about the construction of that dam. I'd watch it again if I had the opportunity. Just the concrete pouring strategy was fascinating.
