I also think Cook should take it but who knows the way poeple vote. As for David Archuleta, I'm tired of the "gee gosh" I'm so innocent crap. He's pulling a Kelly Pickler. He's good but not as good as he thinks...
Maybe they should let the kids pick the songs to sing instead of the old stuff. No wonder they have problems picking something to sing. I like the oldies but come on...do something current at least...

Ok don't jump my bones, but I love the show. This year in particular. Has anyone seen this David Cook dude. He is the best I have ever seen on the show, ready for prime time NOW. Daughtrey is in this guys rearview mirror. He is great.

No he is the rocker guy with the weird hair. The young guy is David Archuletta (sp).
Everybody kid has a website these days. To judge a 16-17 year old boy as someone who has plotted this success is a reach. To capitalize on his fame right now is good business. He can set himself up for life if he plays the cards right, and I wish his all the best.
Tattoos? I got to say that I hate them on women, but in no way would that change my view of talent.

I am betting Shakesha (sp) or Dreadlocks goes tonight. BTW I always DVR it and watch it about an hour after it is over, I blow by the commercials and the voting lines are always clean. I usually vote for Cook about ten times. I really like the guy. I would actually go to one of his concerts and he is the first one I have felt that way about. Taylor Hicks is a local guy, so I would probably go see him, but I just don't get his musical leanings. Very much a performer though. Brooke, while seemingly sweet, is an emotional basket case, Dreadlocks belongs in a resort bar in the Caribbean, little David, is just a little early but will make it big time......eventually, Shakesha(sp) is just another commodity since there are SO MANY VERY talented African American female singers, hard group to break into. Cook is the only real stand out that I think could go on tour today.

He's just a 17 year old kid. I shocked that any 17 year old kid thrust into that spotlight is capable of anything...
Truth be told, they can all sing, but I wouldn't buy any of their records.
I still think the only true success story, and records that I could listen too are from Carry Underwood.

Godsmack: The worlds greatest drummer. Check out the second vid. This guy goes like that for the entire show.These guys are in their 40's Not freaks at all.
Took my 14 year old to see them last summer in the front row..

For me I wanted a final with David Cook and Carlie. I really liked her voice and thought she was spunky. Still saying the dirtbag husband with a million tatts and a million piercings out there in the audience killed her chances.
