Assembled my 1st AR15--W/Picture

Went over to a buds house and used his roll pin punches & front takedown pin detent tool (well worth the $$), drank one of his PBR's and we had a AR15 assembly party

1st lower took about 1.5 hours, but that was with set up, looking for flying springs and just getting comfortable & taking our time getting it right. Took about 45 min for my lower & that's also looking for a little detent pin that went flying.

Got to admit, it was easier than I thought & the RRA 2 stage trigger is really sweet as it's my 1st experience with a 2 stage trigger. Think I might end up getting one for the other Laure lower as well.

Now to get a Magpul MIAD grip as we left off the stock trigger guard & only installed the pistol grip to function test it and hold the spring/detent pin in place.

Complete Armalite upper/bolt/bcg.

Lauer (LMT) lower, RRA 2 stage match trigger & Vltor Emod stock, Vickers padded blue force sling (not pictured). Need to get a full Magpul MIAD grip, have a Troy folding rear sight (BUIS) on order and the Optics (aimpoint???) will be determined at a later date.

Looks good man. Is that a 16'' barrel or did you just put a shorty hand guard on? I got an adjustable butt stock like that, just need to find time to put it on. And you gotta love the M4 upper. Comin along nice.

It's the 16" barrel with a standard A2 closed bottom flash suppressor & came standard with those hand guards. Not sure if I want to replace em with a rail of some kind or not.

If you do go with different rails put the 4 side tactical rail on. It would look bad a$$ with the shorter 16'' barrel.

Im a HUGE fan of the black rifle-

as of right now I own 9 of them!

I have 24" SS barrelled rifles with CMC triggers accurate withing an inch to almost 1000 yds (with me shooting-im sure some people are better) as well as 16" barrelled shorties! My pride and joy is my pre-ban colt, its tacti-cool. Lol

nice rifle! the RRA 2 stage is a good trigger-next time try a giesselle-theyre amazing!

9, heck can I come over and play

I'd be lucky to hit a target 2 miles wide at 1K yards, that's one heck of an accomplishment and superb marksmanship

I've got another Lauer lower that if things work out will be pared with a LaRue Stealth upper & I'm sure that rifle will be way more accurate than I will ever be.
