Can't own anything nice in NYC

I show up to work today to find one of our 2008 econolines in this stage (see pics below). Supposedly a fire truck responded to a call on our block, parked the truck in the middle of the street and they proceeded to lower their stabilizer arms. One of them did this carnage. What's worse is that they didn't want to admit it but one of our maintenance guys that happened to be here over the weekend saw them doing it. The battalion chief ran away and didn't want to give his name. Can't own anything nice in this damn city (NYC). This thing needs a new bumper/rim/tire/fender/tire monitoring system for that rim. On to the pics.

Let the insurance company fight it out. That is what they are for.

I agree about the insurance company but the issue is the lack of concern for a private vehicle. Makes you wonder about how they take care of the 'public's equipment and their own vehicles. Personally the engineer in charge of operation of the truck and the chief who does own up to the damage should be written up and have a 2 day off w/o pay. Maybe a nice apology letter is due also.
