Went out to eat for my B-Day the other night. The meal was nearly perfect except for the pecan pie. I wouldn't hit a dog in the butt with it. I guess folks up here don't know how to make good pecan pie (or BBQ or Chicken Fried Steak or Chili).

Gotta move back home to Texas before I starve!!!

I'll have to put my vote in for my Mother's sour cream raisin pie. A dip of good vanilla ice cream on top and it can't be beat. Being a type 1 diabetic I have to crank up the pump when she invites us over for dinner and one of her sour cream raisin pies.
