I saw their ad on this forum and went to it to ask a question. After asking the question, they wanted me to register, which I did. Then for the question to answered, I had to check how much $$ I was willing to spend to get the answer. It went from the lowest amount of $14 to $50. Anyone else tried to use that site. It's a bunch of BS.

Not really BS but it is not a free service - I wondered how the site supported itself until I tried it out. I did the same as you and stopped when they wanted the $$$$.

A lot like "ask a mechanic" site. I. Was solicited to become a paid member. I didn't like the terms.
