Yes, it finally happened. A couple of weeks ago, I traded the 2002 F-250 for a 2007 Explorer. We needed something that was easier to ride in, and easier to park. Plus I never really used the diesel for anything other than riding. Still have the 99 Dutchmen Fifth Wheel, but it only got pulled two or three times in the seven years that I had my truck. I'll still be around and still use the same "02SilverStroke" name.

Good luck with your Explorer. We had one years back and it was a good car. You're still very welcome on these boards.

Thanks Bob. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, been busy with other things. The Explorer is okay, but my wife is a bit dissatisfied after almost a year with it. She really wants an Expedition. We had a 2004 and got spooked a year later when gas prices started climbing and traded it for a 2005 Five Hundred. We're going to try to get back to an Expedition later, especially since they are rated for the same miles per gallon as the current Explorer. Not too intereted (yet) in the 2011 Explorer since Ford's abandoning the body on frame in favor of a front wheel drive unibody. Of course, I'd LOVE to have a 2011 F-250 but WOW what a price!!!

Thanks for the compliment on the avatar. That goes right along with my political beliefs. I actually attended one of the first Tea Party events that was held in Dallas in April 15, 2009, and walked from my son's car a couple of blocks to Dallas City Hall carrying his "Don't Tread on Me" flag. Of course I wasn't the only one doing that.
