OJ Takes the Big Dive

Convicted on all counts. You would have thought at some point in his life he would have realized he was not above the law. Apparently not. It will be hard for him to argue he did not get "justice", especially in light of the abundant "justice" he got years ago in the trial where he was accused and acquitted of murdering his wife and Goldman. Now will come long appeals bringing up everything under the sun. The biggest will be that he did not get a fair trial because of his notoriety. Would not surprise me to see this junk go on for years before he finally realizes he is going to spend the rest of his life in prison, a very good place for him in my opinion.

But the defense team is allready talking about "spill over" from the "trial of the Century" and that it may be retaliation for the aquittal..Good to see justice prevail and if it means life in prison in Nevada...so be it!! It's not as "nice" to do time there as it is in California

How could OJ get a fair trial with all those racist "whiteys" there, he needed a few of his homeys to set him free again. And as an Attorney you know that will be one of the arguments he puts up.

I was in 4th or 5th grade when the trail was going on during our lunch the teachers would watch it in the library, we'd watch threw the window facing the soccer field. Even then I thought they should've thrown him in the slammer.

I think if he is sentenced to at least 15 years,that will end up being a Life Sentence since the Juice is already 61 Years old,I was hoping the Las Vegas Jury would not Set him free like those Morons in L.A did.

He will no doubt make a racial argument as to the jury make up, but it is very hard to prove, and my no means a slam dunk argument. From what I could tell the Judge ran a pretty tight ship during this trial. However you can never tell what an Appeals Court will do, remember the Texas Court that overturned the verdict of that female satan who drowned her children one, by one, by one until they were all dead.

If he does go to jail, I'll think he will have problems with some of the boys in stripes since he was abusive towards the women, especially since kids were involved. I have a friend who is a C.O. and has worked in sing sing and the people that rape/sexually and physically abuse women don't fair so well in the system. With that said, jail time might be a death sentence especially if he is around lifers, who have nothing to lose.

His BS defense in the murder trial tarnished the otherwise honorable careers of the two lead detectives. I'm happy that Mark Fuhrman has rebounded in a successful writing/consulting career while OJ has continued to push his luck thinking he is above the law. I was watching CNN when the verdict was released and several African Americans were interviewed and basically said that he deserved it this time. Any bets on whether OJ takes a boat ride this time instead of a Bronco ride?

More than likely he will be put in P/C due to his notariety.

You, like OJ's attorneys are taking these out of context. From what I understand, the "documented comments" for which he was crucified were taken from a script (representitive of stereotypical police characters) he wrote and was attempting to sell to Hollywood. I believe that Chris Rock and many "rap artists" make his (Fuhrman's) script pale by comparison on a daily basis. Do you still think that the LAPD planted the glove, the blood drops, framed Michael Skakel; and that OJ is a victim of circumstances? Would you like him for an in-law?

Nice try but, that dog won't hunt.I think OJ was guilty as heck and him getting off was a travesty. And no, I wouldn't want him anywhere near me.I also think Fuhrman is a racist and was a big reason that the jury gave OJ a lot more 'reasonable doubt' than they should have.

This sounds nice because it feels good to believe he will recieve justice while inside the prison system but the reality is that he is simply going to be locked-up with other rapists, child molestors, abusers etc.......plus OJ is a celebrity.

Black Jurors or not,

He hired the best attorneys and they did a GREAT job creating reasonable doubt.

Playing the "race" card is just another tactic attorney's use to get their client off. It works both ways. Their job is not to provide an honest argument, but simply whichever one will keep their client on the street.

Mark Fuhrman also said some things that you can't just can't say when the work you do can change lives forever.
