Thumbs up Plastic lens cleaner

I heard on the radio, an add for Muguiars Cleaner for plastic headlight lens
or anything that has a clear plastic cover , like your instrament cluster.
You apply it with a buffing wheel attached to a drill.

Muguiars makes good products no doubt.

I don't know how much it costs.
What I've been using for years is Brasso brand brass cleaner.
I apply it with a drill/buffer and in small tight spots I've used my dremmel tool,
or you can use a soft cloth and do it by hand .

My watch crystal is allways getting scratched .I use brasso on it and it works perfect.

Give it a try , you won't be disappointed.

I used the Mequires lense polish on my '99 a month ago and it did a great job. I used my drill and a cloth polishing wheel. Took about 4 - 5 hours though.

I had glazed over headlight covers on a Maxima we owned. Using soapy water I wet sanded them with 1000 grit followed up by 1500 grit then polished with plastic cleaner and lambswool pad to take out the fine scratches. Made a great improvement and took less than an hour.
