expanding passed the usual "govt. incentives"....i.e. insulation,high seer a.c.upgrades,solar panel et al to small scale geo thermal,start to finish algae to burnable fuel...methane collection at pig farms and tax breaks for dumping your guzzler for hybrid. the $600 dollar incentive totalling a billion would have gone a long way towards algae diesel and methane production and others.

First of all , the sluggards I am talking about are the sorry people that don't bother to get a job at all ! I'm not talking about people that need help! There is a lot of abuse in our system because there is no accountability, the government just throws money at a problem and expects good results... which rarely happens.

If your wife had been allowed to invest her own money instead of investing into a corrupt system of government that runs social security, She could have paid her own way , instead of relying on the very corrupt system that you rail against !

I started a post on new methods of refining shale oil and while clams personal maladies are not a trifling matter they are pretty far off topic. I suppose I could post about my liver resisting my own insulin and needing to take metaforin once a day, or my dads emphysema, but there is really no connection to that and shale oil???

The connection is this: we have a government that isn't doing squat along the lines of what we all see as differing but equally significant priorities, whether it's reasonable health care for those who cannot afford it or whether it's oil for those who cannot afford it either. Both are necessary to support human life. Our congress had accomplished NOTHING to improve either situation- we are the 40 something ranked nation on the list of quality health care in the world, and oil prices are so high due to congress not having a clue that Hugo Chavez is GIVING us oil. Nice- Don't that make ya proud? And as the off-the-wall Michael Moore showed in his last film, some folks can get better health care in Cuba than they can here.

What the hell does it take for people to wake up and realize that we are self destructing? Until we have lawmakers who stop catering to lobbyists, we will continue to drill holes in the bottom of our ship, instead of into the ground to extract the resources we probably already pawned to the central banks.

Yes we should be extracting oil from shale and pumping oil as fast as we can. We should be building our infrastructure to handle the outcome, and we should be selling the excess for a profit. But when you have to compete with Uncle Hugo's price, maybe it's time to question why oil prices here are so stupidly high and who is screwing who.

From the standpoint of the amount of pollution created by burning hydrocarbons, which destroys people's lungs, we should also be supporting alternative CLEAN power sources- and I personally consider nuclear power clean...along with solar panels so long as they aren't creating a foreign superfund cleanup site in the manufacturing process, and I'd like to see wind developed- so long as it doesn't turn out to be deadly to every bird flying through the area. I'd also like to see geothermal and even tide flux power systems. Those things are worth developing and worth creating jobs and technology for. But good luck convincing Pelosi and Chenny and their respective crops of thugs of that.

As for why they do the cracked stuff they do .... well I wouldn't say your totally wrong.... but the intent of what they do,... well I don't think you can get that many people to agree on anythying without somebody breaking ranks somewhere. There is something going on that doesn't make since, and it's not as easy as just following the money trail this time. There are some power hungry people that already have all the money they want, they want control.

Anyone who trusts those crooks in DC is ignorant, in bed with them or making a profit on their folly. People in this nation no longer stand together as a nation of people who look after one another and themselves as a group. We've all been fed the religion of MORE MORE MORE and ME ME ME, and accepted it as "truth" and those who eschew that kind of thinking are branded as nuts, conspiracy theorists, and trouble makers.

Money vs Power is a "chicken" vs "egg" observation. So no matter which one you assume is their highest motive, you're right- they do want control- but control of what? Money? Absolutely. How much? ALL of it. People? Yuppers, them too. People are what makes THEIR money valuable- especially when they can "tax" you for using "your" money, when in fact it's "their" money which they SOLD or LOANED you- and particularly when they define "money" as not only any denomination of six-cent pieces of paper, but everything that BACKS that paper, which they are hell bent on "owning" AND charging us "usery" on- interest, usage fees, etc.

But how many people are we talking about that have that much money that they have the "all they want?" BTW, THEY define that as having absolute control over ALL the money that ALL the people use... The answer is TEN, and they are attempting to control $1.2 quadrillion dollars and 6 billion people. Their money trail CAN be followed, but it goes cold behind the curtain of deliberate obfuscation, deception, deceit, and government protection (the Swiss government in this case) when you get to the Bank for International Settlements. They are "old money" family members without a doubt. If you know what to look for, which is something that is learned, not intuitive, you can see their shadows when they move their money around. Tatyana Koryagina, Russia's chief macro economics professor watched those shadows very closely and consequently was able to fully anticipate the 9-11 attack. The reason I say $1.2 quadrillion is because that's how much money is now in circulation world wide, and 6 billion is the population of the earth.

Those 10 people have not only conspired, but they have PLANNED and EXECUTED on their plan, generation after generation, gathering more and more wealth and control over the world's economy, and thus the human race. What you are seeing with the world wide economy is absolutely the result of their decisions and actions, which they profit from so vastly that you probably cannot even begin to comprehend the depravity of their plans- Sure, everyone influences things every time they earn or spend, but these guys decide how much your money is going to be worth from one day to the next and they decide if your nation will exist tomorrow...while they make a profit on your earnings and your spendings...and your savings. They are eliminating the middle class- and if the upper class think they are exempt, they are deluded. Make no mistake, these people are sociopaths- they have no discernable conscience individually nor collectively and have plans to do nothing less than rule and own the planet and all of it's inhabitants.

The morons we have "in power" as lawmakers in this nation are simply morons who are allowed to be where they are by those who hold the purse strings. They are so low on the food chain on the world wide scale that they are virtually inconsequential to the people I'm talking about- yet they are watched, bribed and owned. When you get to the place where you start seeing these shadows of money moving on a global scale, you will realize that we're all owned, because they control the currency: it's "copy righted" and no other currencies are allowed. If you don't believe me, just write to the likes of Bernanke and Paulson and tell them we don't want their services anymore. Kennedy did that- a few weeks before he met a hail of bullets in Dallas.

For posting that, I will once again be called a "conspiracy theorist." Whatever. I and a few people who truly know me see me as educated, enlightened, informed, discerning and wise- and that is a very uncomfortable and dangerous (to me) collection of attributes, because "to whom much is given, much is required"- even in the midst of a bunch of head wagging disbelievers who have their own agendas and "get rich" schemes. The fact is, I honestly wish I was wrong. That would be far less painful as I watch what was once my beloved nation surrender to her foreign owners, while people have argued about trivial details but missed the big picture until now it's too late.

Gore is not a Scientist, Engineer or a Doctor.

He's a Hedge-Fund manager. His motivation is money.

The things that motivate an Engineer or Doctor are far more different than the things that motivate a Hedge-Fund Manager.

Doctors and Engineers enjoying being put on a pedestal for their intelligence and admired for something they did liberate humanity and make their lives better.

Hedge-Fund managers want to be looked up to for how much money they have, and have made and protected for others.

So please, don't put Gore on the same pedestal as a Doctor and two Engineers.
