nitto trail grappler

Looking for some new tires, interested in the nitto trail grappler. What would the price be for the 35x12.50R18 or 35x12.50R20. Haven't decided to buy rims yet or not. When might a guy get to buy some??

I wish we had these tires in stock to sell you nailbender. Nitto won't be releasing this model until early next month. We still do not have pricing set on this model. As soon as we have updated pricing we'll post in the thread linked below.

I couldn't tell you for sure. I hope they come out with a 37x12.50 as well. That's getting to be a very popular size. I'll be sure to post up any new size I hear them releasing.

Next week they will be releasing three sizes:

LT295/70R17 - $271.00 each
35X12.50R18 - $279.00 each
35X12.20R20 - $318.00 each

October 5th they will release, 295x55R20, 305/55R20 and 35x12.50R17. After that the next sizes aren't projected until spring of 2010 as far as I know.

That all depends on the use but this model should easily last over 35K miles.

Ok. So I've just purchased my ICON 2.5 level kit and am ready for tires. I have a 08 SD supercab with 8' box. I have the 18" stock wheels. Can I put the 35x12.50xr18 on my stock rims? What is the offset / backspace of a stock rim? Should I go to a 20" stock rim or new....?? I have decided that these trail grappler tires are what I'm looking for. Will a storefront Discount tire beat the price of what is offered at Discount Direct?

Your factory wheels are size 18x8 +45 (6.25" BS). The approved rim width range per Nitto for their 35x12.50-18 Trail Grappler is 8.5" to 11" so this size is not recommended for your factory wheels. A good alternative that is approved for your wheels is the Trail Grappler in size 295/70-18 which is 34.6" tall and 11.75" wide.

If you want to purchase 20" wheels go for it. It actually looks pretty good. Below is a picture of a leveled 2010 F250 with 295/65-20 Trail Grapplers mounted on MB Predators. This tire size will work on the factory 20" wheels as well.

Our local stores are very good about matching online delivered prices so give them a call to see what they can do for you.
