1995 F700 with allision upgrading

the work truck has a 160hp 5.9L and an Allison auto was planning on upgrading with a fuel plate not to sure about what else would be good to add. would like to know how much more the auto can handle the stores that sell the fuel plates say no more than 230hp and 605 ft lbs but thats for the dodge auto not the allison. any other upgrades to look into it already has a huge intake and exhaust.

thanks

Jon Christy

If it's an AT545, then yes, 230hp is a stopping point. They are rated for 235hp/ 445tq. You could just slide your stock plate forward ant get plenty of power.
