That'a a Super Duty. It is a truck only engine, and there was a 401, a 477, and the 534 inch version. The bell housing bolt pattern is unique, and unlike any of the Ford passenger car or light/medium truck engines.
They were used up until 1980 in the L and C series Ford trucks. I would suggest getting a shop manual for one of those trucks, and it should have everything you are looking for. They were pretty good engines, but they used quite a bit of fuel, and in later years they loaded them up with emission controls to the point they had no power. NAPA still has a lot of internal engine parts and gaskets for them.
