95 F800 axle broke?

Truck is 95 F800 with 8.3 cummins and allison automatic. Driveshaft turns but truck dosent move is there anything common to check for in the rear axle that might have broke? i believe it has an eaton axle

Pull the axle shafts. Usually the splined end of one of the shafts breaks. If that's not it, you could have broken the pinion.

thanks i will check that, if only one shaft broke, wouldnt one wheel still turn? or does it free up the whiole axle?

The differential would throw all the power to the broken side axle. So unless You jacked up the back of the truck there would be no movement of either wheel.
