20" wheels. Do it again?

Those of you with the factory 20" wheels, is there any reason that you wish you hadn't gone that route?

I think they look awesome, but if there are any balancing or wearing issues, or if you've found that tire replacement is way out of line, I'd like to know. Thanks!

I compare the tire prices between the 275/70-18's and 275/65-20's (two OE options for the newer F-250) and found that the tire prices are roughly the same. In fact, there are tires that cost less in the 20" size. Even the optional 275/65-18 models are in line with the other sizes listed. Lower profile tires like the 275/65-20 size are typically easier to balance as well.

Yea in terms of drivability I would say they are the same....When you start moving into larger tire sizes typically the 20" will be more expensive than an 18".

I don't think if there is any wearing and balancing issue will come up. They give good performance.

I had an 05 350 dsl crew 4x4 with 18's. Put on the factory 20's w/ the goodyears. The ride was significantly worse and put the 18's back. The 20's definitely look better but its not worth it. I think its a combination of the increased weight of the 20's (there's a lot more metal) combined with the shorter (stiffer) sidewalls.
