2006 f550 rear brake job help

I just finished up front pads and rotors on my 2006 f550 and want to start back, but need help. Anyone have instructions for removal of rear rotors, it is 135 axle. I know it's attached to hub, just need help with removal and install. I would bring it to garage, but don't have funds. I been searching forums for past three nights and can not find any definite procedures. Do I have to replace hub seals or any other recommendations. Any help appreciated. Thanks

There really isn't any rocket science to this job. I find it hard to believe that someone operating a truck of this size being limited on funds to pay for this repair. All I can offer is that you will need the special eight-sided hub lock retainer socket to remove the locking/ratcheting nut. If you are careful enough not the damage the seal during the removal of the hub and rotor, you likely can get away with reusing the seals, although it would be a good idea to change them out. Beware that the hub and rotor assembly will be HEAVY, so use caution during removal and installation.

FWIW I have 390k on my truck and never changed any rotors. If you just want to do brakes it is just like the front. You don't have to pull any axles. If you don't want to spend money on the socket, flat head screwdriver works fine, it just takes a while

Thanks guys, did more researching and found out about spindle nut which what I was worried about. Doesn't seem that bad after all and will tackle it this week.

These are the same as a 350 DRW just on steroids if you can find some pictorials. I'm starting one in my facebook page, but no words as yet.

The biggest issue you are going to have is the top bracket bolts as you cannot get a normal socket up in there due to leaf spring contact. You can use a box end wrench as a striking socket but you need to make sure it is a six point so you don't round it off.
