I believe that would be -negative caster then IIRC from what I learned from searching after caryt's post we want +positive caster.
Would the caster change be the same with a coil insert verses the AA coils? Are these coils the max rating from
? I have air tools and all that jazz. Never messed with these coil trucks yet but I did the suspension on my 03 myself.
I tell ya what, I said above I don't need different coils but now that I have about 165 miles on the truck, I miss my leaf springs. I hit a pot hole, unavoidable in Alaska this time of year, and the truck jumped and shimmied, I thought I would hit my head on the ceiling. My 03 would have just cruised right over it without a hiccup. I think new coils are in this trucks future, which ones I don't know. Probably some steering stabilizers too.
Hooked up my trailer yesterday to measure before and after, front and back heights. Right now stock the trucks sits pretty good, +1/4" in the front and -3/4" in the back but I will have to recheck those measurements when the truck and trailer are at full load weight heading out of town. My guess is with a front level I am going to need air bags.
On edit: been ten years since I looked at spring codes, where do I find the code for my coils? Found it I think SPR: DDLL.
