Best deal on tires ?

I just picked up my new 2004 F350 and I need to get rid of the 20's it came with. I got a set of stock wheels and now I just need to get some 265 75 16 'E' load rating tires. Who has the best deal, either online or B&M ?

Thanks

I have steel cased tires on my truck and am shopping too. 235/85/16. Costco is really hard to beat, I plan on buying Michelin XPS Rib from them.

Firestone has the Bridgestone Duravis R250 tires for $990 installed. The Duravis and the Rib are stock size Commercial grade tires. The Goal is maximum durability cooler running, long tread life, and sidewall protection.
The Ribs are 1080 installed at Costco.
I believe Costco has the best deals however they don't carry every brand. The Install is 15 bucks ea that incl road Hazard Warranty, Rotation and Balancing as long as you own them and Nitrogen Inflation. These priced beat Discount tires and Tire Rack

I looked at both "Sams Club", and "Costco", but for me, the best prices by far, was from "Discount Tire Direct". Not only was the price of the tires considerably cheaper, there is NO tax charged, they also include free shipping. Considering that the "Tire Rack" was going to be charging me $136.00 shipping fee for the tires I wanted, I felt I got an incredible deal.

Also, they offered a great Road hazzard warranty at a terrific price (I included it).

Here's the link, if anyone is interested.

I picked up a tire called Concours this week, good looking tire. They are imports from China. I had 4 installed for 560. They are load range E and I got them in a 285/75/16. They are AT's and so far I like them. Everything else in that load range locally was $830 and up. Sears wanted 1100 plus for a set of load range E's. Now I am looking for a set of stock wheels for my 2002 f250 so I can mount some cheaper load range D tires for running down the track.

Thanks for the post Meatco.

Montano, let us know if we can help you out. We may have some Discount Tire or America's tire store locations in your area but if not we can always send some tires your way through UPS.

We would love to earn your business. Please let us know if we can help.

We do guarantee the lowest delivered price on all the products we sell. If a competitor (TireRack.com in this case) has a cheaper delivered price (item price + freight) we'll beat it

I would consider discount tire however Tire Rack has a warehouse here in my town, Shreveport, so there is no shipping. On another note the Concourse tires I mentioned a couple of posts up are horrible. They have a very soft compund and are already worn down to 6/32. I have less that 2000 miles on them. I may have gotten a bad set, either way I will never buy them again. The dealer is suposidly replacing them with Kumho KL78's. Even though they are a D rated tire I will settle.

the man was right

With price plus freight taken into consideration, discounttiredirect came in lower than tirerack.com. I went for a set of Kumho MT KL71's. I'll post impressions when I get to run around in them a bit.

Well I got my KL78's and so far so good. If this thread is alive in a month or 2 I will post more on the tire. So far I have had no problems with Tirerack but they do have a warehouse in my city so if there were ever a problem I would go take care of it in person.

The last set of 235 85 16 I bought was the hankook atms nad got all 6 for under $950. cheaper than anyone else. Awesome tire with great tread pattern and wear. Already have 20k on them sinze may withno signs of wear yet.

Post up what you think of the tire when you have run them for a while, we'd love to hear your .02.
