Question Frozen Rotors- Anyone use them?

Hi Guys (& Gals),

I have an 03' DRW with almost 100k miles on it that has had brake problems since about 10k miles. I have had the brakes done about three times for pedal pulse and steering wheel wobble due to what I assume is warped rotors. I had heard that the early 6.0 DRW 1 ton had issues w/ warping rotors and certainly my experience is a testament to that. I use the truck as my get around and also pull 18K lbs about once a month for several days. The warpage does not seem to coincide with the heavy pull, as it has occured both when pulling and when empty. The re-surface is usually good for a few weeks or the first rain. I am open to all ideas but would also like to know is anyone has experience with Frozen Rotors and if so how they liked them.

Thanks!

Bubba

I had great results using the ART rotors and brakes on my early 99 that was prone to warping the front rotors.

My original rotors lasted about 25k miles and I went to ARTs. They are holding up great. I would highly recommend them. I would imagine the brand called Frozen Rotors are similar to the ARTs as far as durability.

Thank you both for your replies. I will research the ART rotors.

Thanks!
