Installed skyjacker 6" lift and having issues

Hey everybody,

I'm new here, but have been browsing around. New to the whole diesel and truck thing all together. I installed a skyjacker 6" soft ride lift, with new front and rear springs about 5K miles ago. When I put the lift on the rear of my truck was sitting higher, I assumed and was told that the rear springs would settle and I'd be level. Well I'm still not level, and I've hauled a couple heavy loads for a few hundred miles. I left the stock rear block in since I got replacement springs. The rear block is like 3". So my question is do I need to a leveling kit or just do an add a leaf in the front to get it to sit level? It's an early '03 w/7.3L, crew cab, long bed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks

Measure what the amount of either front lift or rear reduction you need the either get a hanger kit..2" min or a lower rear block. If you raise the front you should use a adj track bar.

I wouldn't think of adding a add-a-leaf to lift springs

Thanks guys!

So what size is the smaller rear block then? I know mine is like 3 1/2"s or something right around there. Is the smaller block for a 3/4 ton? I would assume all 1 ton's came with the same size block, right?

Thanks

Get F250 4x4 rear blocks or eliminate them entirely depending on how far down you need to go to get the truck with the rake you want or level.

I just did a 6" springs front and rear lift on my f250. Mine sits 1 inch taller in the rear with no blocks. btw my truck had 2" factory blocks.
