Lets say I did get a flat (knock on wood)...

this might be a dumb question but this is my first lifted truck

lets say something happened and I got a flat. I'm running 37" tires on my '00 F250. I have a full size spare but it's in the stock size.

1) Could I swap my wheels around so that the spare was on the front and I manually unlocked the hub (if that's even an option but I'm pretty sure it is).

2) is the factory jack going to even be able to lift my truck with a 6" lift and 37" tires?

Thanks,
Dan

1. would work, should work on the rear as long as you have an open diff. Would not drive far, but it would work. I think it may get hot, but an open diff is designed to make up for a difference in speed between the tires.

2. would not work. You could carry a large 6x6 block of wood to set your Jack on.

run a 37 inch spare get a cheap 37 off craigslist or the paper or even a 35 and then mount on the stock rim it can have barely any tread after all it is a spare
or carry an extra stock spare and swap out both tires itll look stupid but itll save you a tow

or have a buddy who can pick up youre tire and get it patched

i forgot to add get a bumper lift jack and the adapter for the curved front bumper i have a 48" highlift and its a godsend so much easier no going under the truck or worry about getting wet and if it is raining then you just throw it in the bed till it dries up
i got mine mounted behind the seat
and if you go this route i got bracket pics too

will a 37" spare fit under the bed where the stock spare goes? If that's the case I'll just do that because I'm about to replace my worn out tires and I can use one of my slicks.

No a 37 will not fit.

A buddy ran a stock tire on the rear with 35's for 6 hrs towing 12k home from California. I asked him if he was worried about the different size, he said lets see what happens. He made it ok with no ill effects.

I run 35's as well, if I blow a rear I am putting the stock on and heading on my way. I wanted to put a locker in rear but decided not to because of the tire size issue. I am going to put a locker in the front instead.
